Although archetypes are impersonal patterns of influence that are both ancient and universal, they become personalized when they are a part of an individual psyche. Cultures and trends can also influence their expression. The Messenger archetype has also taken on a more popular cultural expression in the Networker and Gossip archetypes.
This is not an exhaustive list but will serve as a starting point for identifying your personal archetypes. Clients have access to an extensive list of archetypes with descriptions and examples.
