Background
I’ve spent the last twelve plus years managing teams and consulting in the technology, training and creative fields. One of the things that I saw over and over again was that if there was no clear purpose to the plan, things fell apart. Not only did a clear purpose need to be in place for the business to flourish, but also the team members needed to have their talents engaged with that purpose. No one wants to go to work to be a robot just to ‘get the job done’ but this often happens and no one is ever really happy with that.
