How does it all work?
I typically work with clients in two ways:
- Work together to create an Archetypal Compass of Influences that connects their 12 core archetypes to specific areas in their lives.
and/or
- Provide Archetypal Re-Frame sessions where we discuss a particular issue and re-frame it using archetypal patterns and create an action plan for working with those patterns.
Archetypal Compass of Influences
This process is for those who are ready to delve into their core motivations and make powerful changes to live their life with renewed energy and purpose. Whether spurred on by job changes, life changes or a strong desire to improve their lives, this process provides a path to real and sustainable growth.
- I guide clients using discussion, thought provoking questions and some fun and challenging exercises to uncover their core eight archetypal motivations and patterns. We will also discuss the four archetypes common to everyone and how they shape the basis of our survival. These twelve archetypes (8 unique + 4 common) form a compass of major influences in your life.
- Watching movies can be one of the best ways to observe archetypes so we’ll discuss films that you might want to watch in order to get a better idea of an archetype and how it might apply to you.
- There are typically four phases to uncovering an archetypal compass: Discovery, Delineation, Road Testing and Mapping. Each phase usually consists of one or more 50 minute sessions plus some time on your own to complete exercises. We will discuss the various exercises and customize a plan just for you.
- Your archetypal compass charts the major influences, gifts and challenges of your 12 core archetypes. We will discuss your compass and some of the ways it can be used to improve your life.

Archetype Re-frame
- I can also provide individual guidance sessions using archetypes and provide a framework of archetypes for you to work with regarding a particular issue. One 60 minute session can clarify the issue and enable you to make more empowered choices. Individual guidance is available to all clients whether they have completed their archetypal compass or not.
